Job Description

- Responsible for the release of new and innovative IC based products into high volume production

- Lead and participate in technical design reviews to help improve the manufacturability and testability of products under development

- Improve the yields and profitability of existing products

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Interface with design groups on new product Introduction and design for manufacturability

- Develop production test plans to verify product performance and perform analysis of data using sound statistical methodology in order to set test limits and datasheet specifications.

- Continuously improve manufacturing test processes

- Support Testing in lab for new designs

- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering and production targets are achieved.

- Monitor and investigate yield issues arising at any stage in the manufacturing and testing process

- Support reliability team in new product qualification and failure analysis

- Ensure all aspects of product manufacturing, including hardware, documentation, BOMs and costing are in place for the production release of a product

Key Competencies Required

- Significant exposure to and knowledge of RF and microwave components

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Knowledge of statistical data Analysis tools (e.g. Minitab, JMP etc..)

- Good planning and organisational skills

- Good interpersonal and communications skills

- Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential

- In-depth understanding of statistics

- Ability and desire to learn new technologies

- Willingness to travel occasionally

Minimum Qualifications

- Advanced degree in a science or engineering discipline

- Five or more years of relevant work experience such as Semiconductor based product engineering/development, RF testing or characterisation)

- Demonstrated ability to work on cross functional teams

- Familiar with RF testing and troubleshooting

- Proficiency in spoken and written English
