Traffic engineer required to join an award-winning Engineering consultancy in Dublin. Are you ready to step up and make a real impact? Were looking for an experienced Traffic Engineer whos ready to lead, deliver, and help shape the future of this team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing, consulting environment and who enjoys collaborating with planners, architects, and engineers, solving design challenges, and building long-term relationships with clients. Projects: +€100M Datacentres +€50M Commercial builds Multiple High rise apartment complexes Multiple Strategic Housing Development Duties: Gathering and analysing transport data to inform design decisions Building and reviewing transport models, planning and evaluating future transport schemes and business cases Reviewing drawings, transport assessments, travel plans, and reports to ensure quality and practicality Support multidisciplinary design teams and partners in developing transport networks for new towns, residential and commercial developments in accordance with DMURS Designing environmental improvements, traffic calming measures, and traffic management schemes for towns and villages Providing advice and assistance to other departments on roads/highways design, street network design (DMURS), car park layouts, and service access strategies Preparing reports, presentations, bids, and proposals, and attending client meetings and workshops Using creative and logical thinking to resolve design issues and deliver practical, sustainable outcomes. Requirements: Degree-qualified with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) 2 - 5+ years post-graduate experience in traffic engineering Proven experience with Traffic Impact Assessments, transport modelling, and reporting Familiarity with DMURS and experience delivering transport solutions for large residential, commercial, and educational projects Comfortable leading discussions with clients and partners Already based in Ireland with full working rights Salary & Benefits: €40-55K DOE Pension CPD Training Clear career progression - be part of something thats scaling If you are a Traffic Engineer considering a career move, send your cv or contact Jade Murray for a confidential discussion.
