Job Description The Digital team at An Post is undergoing a bold transformation-moving beyond traditional web delivery to an AI-enabled, app-first future. Reporting to the Head of Digital Performance, this role sits at the heart of a team that has delivered measurable impact across customer experience, digital engagement and commercial performance. The Digital Insights & Performance Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping how we understand and optimise these journeys, turning data into decisions and decisions into better outcomes for our customers This role fuels digital acceleration and transforms customer experience by unlocking the power of digital intelligence and embedding performance tools that empower the An Post Digital team to deliver at scale Responsibilities The principal responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following: Manage the insights strategy for An Post to drive higher levels of digital performance and digital acceleration. Lead, develop & execute the digital analytics strategy and requirements for the business, evangelising data analytics across marketing and product teams. Manage the development of comprehensive Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Objectives & Key Results (OKR) reporting frameworks to identify and capitalise on opportunities within customer journeys. Develop AI agent-driven and CoPilot reporting interfaces for Marketing, Product and CX teams. Oversee the digital performance tech stack, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and future scalability. Enable self-service access to insights tools across teams. Utilise digital analytics tools to conduct analysis and generate recommendations for optimising website conversion rates and enhancing customer experience. Support a data-driven approach to UX/UI reviews and updates, ensuring that decisions are based on robust analytics and user insights Support the evolution of the Google Analytics (GA4) ecosystem and its integration with enterprise tools. Contribute to the enablement of self-service insight tools across teams. Assist the analytics agency in agile ways of working, for tag management and insights gathering, and find ways to improve operational efficiency Contribute to continuous improvements for data and insights, ensuring the application of new and emerging technologies Provide additional oversight on the analytics setup and reporting on key digital transformation projects along with assessing the performance of key digital transformation projects Demonstrate An Post Values and behaviours in day to day work and interactions. Qualifications Degree in Digital/Marketing/Ecommerce/Information Systems with minimum 4+ years of experience in a digital/ecommerce analytics and insights role Expert in web analytics tools (GA4, BigQuery, Google Tag Manager) and session replay software (e.g Clarity,Glassbox or equivalent). Experience with customer journey mapping, CRO, and UX optimisation. Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Microsoft PowerBI, Looker Studio etc.) and experimentation platforms. Familiarity with operational data stores and AI-driven reporting tools is a plus. Strong stakeholder management, communication skills and project management skills Empathy for internal users and external customers. Applicants must follow the standard Company rules and regulations regarding conduct, performance and attendance. Salary The salary for this position is based on the CM1 pay range (median €79,269). The usual starting pay and promotion rules apply for those being promoted: that is the higher of either (i) 80% of the median €63,415 or (ii) the total of existing pay plus any productivity allowance, plus 5% of basic pay. The selection process may entail appropriate testing to assist in evaluating the suitability of candidates for the job and a competitive interview. Appointment There will be a six-month probationary period and process in place for the individual appointed to this position. Should a successful candidate fail to achieve the standards expected at any stage during the probationary period, there will be early, effective intervention designed to enable them to reach and maintain acceptable standards of performance. However, should they fail to reach and maintain these standards following this intervention; they will revert to their previous grading/position and to the salary point they would have reached if they had continued in that grade, provided the record of service during their period in the position now advertised was satisfactory from the point of view of conduct.
