Procurement Specialist

ACCPRO have partnered with a leading Irish specialist design and manufacturing company to recruit for a Procurement Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to get oversight of procurement across multiple projects. 5 days a week onsite – South/West Dublin. €45-50k

Responsibilities

- Responsible for the procurement requirements across multiple projects
- Create Bill of Materials
- Review Purchase Requests and raise Purchase Orders
- Select suppliers and process orders
- Monitor delivery deadlines and lead times
- Check deliveries and stock to ensure required materials are available
- Proactively follow on potential delays to mitigate risk of supply chain disruption
- Maintain a positive working relationship with suppliers
- Deliver accurate material requirements planning per project

Requirements

- Ideally 2 years procurement experience
- Experience in a manufacturing setting a distinct advantage
- Certification/qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field would be beneficial
- Experience of working with a recognised ERP system
