3 Days Left: Senior Business Analyst

Overview

It's an exciting time to be a member of the Fisher Investments Technology Department. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support our CRD team.

The Opportunity:

The FII Senior Business Analyst supports the Charles River Development (CRD - CRIMS). You will work with our Portfolio Management Team to support tasks such as Client Guidelines and Assurance, Portfolio Engineering, Portfolio Implementation, Trading, and Trading Operations. You will work closely with the Charles River userbase to understand their needs for efficiencies and new capabilities, and partner with Charles River and our other teams to design and implement needed solutions. You will report to the Vice President - PMG Technology Services.

The Day-to-Day:

- Manage a program to ensure the elements are completely and efficiently meeting our requirements and manage all phases of various projects from envisioning through deployment.
- Identify potential process improvements, recommend solutions, and implement solutions to improve the efficiency of the department.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production platforms for start of day readiness and general system health.
- Effectively foster dialogue and communication between internal business customers, Technology Teams, and our application vendors.
- Partner and engage with your business customers to understand their challenges and to create the most optimal solutions for our plans to implement and resolve.
- Take ownership of configuration tuning, deployment, testing, and post-deployment support.
- Maintain insight and build forward-looking plans to effectively write business, functional, and technical requirements in the form of user stories under the Agile/Scrum framework accompanied with solution detail, diagrams, and supporting documentation.

Your Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Technology Business Analyst or a similar role supporting business critical applications as part of a Wealth or Investment Management Technology team.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience configuring and implementing Charles River Manager Work Bench or Central Work Bench workflows, layouts, and Result Sets.
- Advanced working SQL knowledge to write, update, and build queries.
- Strong working knowledge of order management concepts, workflows, and terminology to partner with and have meaningful conversations with Portfolio Implementation and Trading Team members.
- Experience with Equities and Fixed Income – Market Securities Data, Order Generation, and Trade Lifecycle processes.
- Experience with Agile Software Development Lifecycle, process diagramming, and project management tools.
- A University degree required; Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math or related work experience.
