Automation Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - Dublin - 12-Month Contract

Key Responsibilities
1. Supporting Building Automation System (BAS) (Siemens DesigoCC) and other Utility Automation Control systems.
2. Support upgrade projects.
3. Provide troubleshooting and hands-on support to resolve technical issues.
4. Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines.
5. Ensuring that equipment works to its specification.
6. Creating and carrying out test procedures and automation change controls.
7. Liaising with installation/project engineers.
8. Supervising engineering, vendors, and technical staff.
9. Writing reports and documentation.
10. Writing work instructions.
11. Ensuring safe working conditions.
12. Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.
13. Attend Software Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Testing.
14. Maintaining and developing change control systems.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, or a related engineering field or its equivalent.
2. At least 5 years' experience providing Building Automation / Building Management system solutions and support to manufacturing organizations in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry or similar.
3. Experience during project delivery and operations support.
4. Experience working with Air Handling Units (AHU) / HVAC and other critical utility systems such as cooling towers, compressors.
