Overview

This role will take ownership of PEP's new Global F1 Partnership, managing 8 of the 24 annual races (specifically those in Central markets such as UK, Spain, Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, etc.) and serving as the key activation lead on one of the three anchor brands for the partnership, specifically Doritos. The role involves driving strategic and operational integration between the platform and the brand.

Responsibilities

- Lead and own the strategic integration of the partnership/platform with the anchor PEP Foods brand - Doritos.
- Develop and execute all Sting in-built sponsorship rights and assets.
- Execute 8 key tentpole F1 moments/events in Central markets, working closely with local markets and bottlers across these race locations.
- Deliver meaningful food and drink experiences (MFDEs) at these events in partnership with global and local AFH teams.
- Implement best-in-class execution of PEP's corporate event and hospitality programs at these events to facilitate and drive business relationships.

Qualifications

Key Skills/Experience Required

- Experience managing and nurturing highly strategic relationships with major sports and entertainment rights holders (e.g., UEFA, FIFA).
- Experience managing large-scale experiential events, both in-person and virtual.
- Experience leading large indirect teams, including agencies and freelancers involved in experiential events.
- Strong understanding of the sports industry landscape.

Differentiating Competencies Required

- Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations involving multiple brands, global teams, regional teams, and over 100 global markets.
- Strong sense of organizational dynamics, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence through formal and informal channels.
- Comfort and courage to take calculated risks, operate in high ambiguity, and manage grey areas.
- Ability to establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect quickly with peers, team members, and senior executives.
- Resilience, willingness to take on new challenges, and commitment to resolving issues.
