About The Role
You will lead our pricing strategy on non‑effective rate pharmacies, delivering insights into trends and opportunities to drive margin optimisation across all lines of business. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners across Network Contracting, Client Contract Management, Finance, Legal and more to ensure alignment with pharmacy contractual obligations.
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver pricing optimisation strategies within network pharmacies for Optum's Commercial and Medicare book of business.
Provide insights on non‑effective rate pharmacy reimbursement trends, tracking and projecting shifts in utilisation.
Oversee development of financial models, iterating as required to maximise efficacy.
Deliver insightful analysis and scenario modelling to support key business decisions.
Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate insights into pricing decisions.
Offer recommendations to leadership and stakeholders on emerging trends and pricing strategies.
Engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
Lead regular cadence update meetings with key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, accounting, mathematics, engineering) or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in Data Analytics, Finance or Pricing roles.
Proficiency with SQL and/or Python for querying.
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
Experience in financial modelling and scenario assessment.
Ability to analyse financial data to develop business insight and strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in managed health care or pharmacy benefit management.
Experience creating visualisations using Tableau or similar.
Experience with MS Azure.
High energy, detail‑oriented with strong project management skills.
Self‑managed, self‑starter capable of thriving in a rapidly changing environment.

Strong communication skills across multiple levels and disciplines.
Complex problem‑solving skills.
Collaborative ability to work with multiple teams to drive business growth.
Excellent verbal and written communication, translating complex analytic results into actionable insights.
Eligibility: You must currently be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland without restrictions.
