Security Tester (Penetration Testing / Ethical Hacking) Type: Permanent / Full-time Level: Mid-Senior Overview Looking for a hands-on security tester to perform manual penetration tests and technical security assessments across applications, services and infrastructure. The role focuses on finding, validating and documenting real vulnerabilities and helping technical teams fix them. Core Responsibilities Perform penetration tests of web, API, mobile and cloud applications. Reproduce and validate findings, develop concise proof-of-concepts, and assess business impact. Tune detections, contribute to playbooks, and help improve testing processes. Mentor less experienced testers and share practical knowledge across teams. Skills & Experience 3+ years of hands-on penetration testing or application security experience. Demonstrable testing ability (e.g., exploit chains for SQLi/XSS). Comfortable with common tools and scripting (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, SQLMap, Python/Bash). Knowledge of network and Web-related protocols/technologies (e.g. UNIX/LINUX, TCP/IP, Cookies). Knowledge of web/mobile security, authentication, session management, and applied cryptography. Familiar with threat frameworks (OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK) and vulnerability lifecycle. Strong written communication-able to produce technical reports for engineers and concise summaries for stakeholders. Certifications such as OSCP/OSCE/GPEN/CEH are a plus but not required.
