Our clientis seeking an experiencedSenior EHS Advisorto join their team inCork, supporting projects across thecommercial and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a mobile role with the potential to work across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Environmental Health & Safety policies and systems
- Provide expert guidance to management, employees, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS legislation and best practices
- Deliver site inductions and health & safety training
- Develop and review EHS documentation including risk assessments and method statements
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are taken
- Investigate incidents and ensure proper reporting and follow-up
- Maintain EHS records, reports, and registers
- Support site teams with Toolbox Talks and EHS initiatives
- Prepare Safety Files for client handover
Requirements
- Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience on large-scale construction projects
- Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
