Overview:

WeareseekingaSeniorBuyertojoinourSupplyChainOperationsteaminCork.Thisroleiscriticaltoensuringtheefficientprocurementandplanningofrawmaterialsforbothcommercialandclinicalmanufacturing.Theidealcandidatewillensurematerialsareavailableintherightquantity,attherighttime,andattheoptimalcost,whilebuildingstrongsupplierrelationshipsandsupportingcontinuousimprovementinsupplychainprocesses.

Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

- Leadtheend-to-endpurchasingprocess,identifyingopportunitiestoimprovesystemsandworkflows.

- Managesupplierrelationshipsandperformance,fosteringstrategicpartnershipstooptimizeforecasting,purchaseorders(POs),andinvoicing.

- OverseeallaspectsofPurchaseOrdermanagement,includingcreation,submission,follow-ups,updates,andclosure.

- PlanandforecastmaterialrequirementsusingERP/MRPsystems,Min-Maxtools,andotherelectronicplanningtoolstoalignwithproductionschedules.

- Ensuretimelyandcost-effectiveprocurementofmaterialstosupportclinicalandcommercialmanufacturing.

- MaintainaccurateitemmasterdatainSAP,ensuringup-to-daterecordsandcompliancewithinternalstandards.

- Preparesupplierperformancescorecardsandconductregularreviewmeetingswithsupplierstocommunicateforecastsandproductionneeds.

- MonitorsupplierKPIs,escalatingissuesandrecommendingcorrectiveactionstomanagement.

- Handleadministrativetaskssuchasprocessingreturnstovendors(RTVs)andresolvingPOorinvoicediscrepancies.

Scope:

- Responsiblefortheprocurementandplanningofrawmaterials,collaboratingacrossteamstoensuretimelymaterialavailabilitythatmeetsqualityandcosttargets,whilesupportingstrategicsupplierrelationshipsandsupplychainexcellence.

Qualifications&Skills:

- Provenexperienceinprocurement,materialsplanning,orsupplychainoperations,ideallywithinbiotech,pharmaceutical,ormanufacturingenvironments.

- StrongexperiencewithERP/MRPsystems(SAPpreferred).

- Excellentanalytical,organizational,andproblem-solvingskills.

- Strongcommunicationandstakeholdermanagementabilities.

- Abilitytothriveinafast-paced,cross-functionalteamenvironment.
