We are proud to be launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM's global Product and Technology organization.

SiriusXM's new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM's streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.

What you'll do:

As a member of the Innovation Center at Pandora/SiriusXM, you will be joining a team of Test Engineers responsible for testing SiriusXM software and products related, but not limited to, in-vehicle infotainment systems and aftermarket SiriusXM products.

The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test procedures to ensure that software programs work as intended. This position will be a part of the software development team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a cooperative manner with software engineers, product, and program managers.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with software engineers, program managers, requirements managers, and other product stakeholders to understand product features and the complete set of requirements for the software.
2. Assist in the development of manual and automated test cases.
3. Work closely with development teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed.
4. Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, ensuring the quality and stability of the system throughout the project.
5. Generate testing completion metrics and analysis, as well as status read-outs to upper management.
6. Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test methodologies to ensure exhaustive testing of all assigned software systems to ensure compliance with software/system specifications.
7. Anticipate potential software problems by creating test scenarios.

What you'll need:

- BS Engineering or SW Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience required. MS Engineering is desired.
- At least 5 years of experience in software testing.
- Experience in Android application testing on hardware.
- Experience in testing of HMI of infotainment systems is a plus.
- Application of software development life cycle concepts.
- Experience in software development and test automation is a plus.
- Knowledge of Ruby or Python is a plus.
- Experience with Git is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Commitment to internal client and customer service principles.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong testing acumen as well as the technical know-how to automate the work.
- Troubleshooting - Exceptional ability to isolate & troubleshoot technical issues across the full technology stack by leveraging automated testing methodologies.
