A highly successful Private Equity firm has partnered with District Partners to recruit a qualified CPA (or CPA-track candidate) for a contract position in Dublin. The selected individual will oversee the accounting, reporting, and analysis functions for one of the firm’s recently established funds.
Job Responsibilities: What You'll Do:
Maintain the general ledger and reconciliations by recording journal entries for investments, capital activity, and expenses, while reconciling cash, investments, and partner capital accounts.
Prepare financial statements and calculate net asset value (NAV) on a monthly or quarterly basis in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
Manage capital activity by tracking investor commitments, processing capital calls and distributions, and maintaining accurate capital account balances.
Handle investor reporting by preparing capital account statements, waterfall allocations, IRR/MOIC calculations, and other performance metrics.
Support audits and compliance by coordinating with external auditors, fund administrators, and tax teams to provide schedules and meet regulatory and tax reporting requirements.
Requirements: What You'll Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
1–3 years of public accounting experience.
CPA or CPA-track with a GPA of 3.5+.
Strong accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and solid understanding of IFRS.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with proven ability to problem-solve and collaborate in a team environment.
