Smarttech247 is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Security Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Information Security Consultancy team in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our data security & governance services to our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, clients and internal stakeholders to implement and maintain effective data security & governance processes and procedures. The successful candidate must possess a strong familiarity with all aspects of enterprise security, to include such areas as network security, encryption technologies, and enterprise security software management. They deploy , maintain and optimise data security software applications such as Data Loss Prevention tooling, Data Discovery tools and encryption tools and processes.

Location: Reporting to our HQ in Cork, Ireland, but open to applicants based in Northern Ireland, UK, Romania or Poland.

Responsibilities

- Development and delivery of data security programmatic processes to customer organisations.
- Providing auditing and review of customer data security practices and tool usage, to include providing recommendations for improvement.
- Implementing and maintaining key data security tools within the customer environments and providing customer operators with training for the same.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement data security frameworks and methodologies that align with business objectives and client needs.

Skills & Experience

- 2 years of data security enterprise software experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Familiarity with DSPM and DLP tools (such as Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, Symantec) is required.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, and effective and professional written and oral communication skills. This role requires excellent judgement, and strong self-motivation.
- Any relevant certifications is a plus.
