Our Ireland South hub provides a full range of accountancy, audit and taxation services to a diverse portfolio of individual and corporate clients. We're currently recruiting Trainee Accountants to join our Limerick team, with great opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Preparing financial statements;
2. Participating in the performance of audits;
3. Compiling management accounts and other management reporting and bookkeeping;
4. Preparing corporation Tax, VAT, RCT and Income Tax returns;
5. Preparing and processing Payroll;
6. Liaising with banks, legal firms, Revenue and other professional advisers;
7. Managing client Company Secretarial requirements;
8. Working under the supervision of senior staff members and providing support;
9. Preparing VAT returns;
10. Attending client premises;
11. Communicating and liaising verbally and in writing with external clients, always aiming to deliver customer service excellence;
12. Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence;
13. Participating in teamwork and activities enhancing standards for the business and client;
14. Representing the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude;
15. Delivering the Xeinadin vision and values.

Key Requirements

Ideal candidates will:

1. Expect to achieve at least a 2.1 in accountancy or a business related degree;
2. Have obtained 420+ points at Leaving Cert level (or equivalent);
3. Be motivated and able to work both as part of a team and independently;
4. Possess strong communication and English language skills;
5. Be enthusiastic about both developing their career;
6. Endeavour to continually improve their skills and knowledge.
