As a Relief Customer Service Assistant, you'll be a key member of our team, providing vital support across various sites to ensure smooth and consistent service. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers a high level of flexibility, as you'll cover staff absences such as holidays, sickness, and other operational needs. You'll bring a positive attitude, strong reliability, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service in every setting. Working as part of a dynamic, fast-paced team, you'll have opportunities to develop your skills within a company that values individuality, teamwork, and growth. Your key responsibilities will include: Deliver an outstanding customer experience at all times Assist in the preparation and service of high-quality food and beverages Maintain attractive food and counter displays to enhance customer appeal Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently Uphold the highest standards of Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety Adapt quickly to different work environments and teams while maintaining consistent service standards Represent Compass Group Ireland with professionalism and a positive attitude Our ideal Catering Assistant will: A flexible and dependable team player who can adapt to different sites and shift patterns A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional under pressure Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards Previous experience in a catering or customer service role is an advantage - but your enthusiasm and flexibility are what matter most At Compass Ireland, our people are our business.
