This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation. They are currently hiring an experienced accounting professional to join the team and take the lead on all things finance. As our business grows, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team, improve our financial and operational processes, and drive efficiency across the business. The Role This is an office-based role (Dublin 4) that offers flexible working hours (approx. 2030 hours p/w) to suit your lifestyle. You will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team and Project Managers to ensure robust financial management. Key Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day accounts functions for our client. Be the go to in the organisation for all things financial. Handle Accounts Payable/Receivable, reconciliations, statements, and credit control. Oversee invoice corrections, queries, and client/supplier onboarding. Process and manage client purchase orders (POs). Prepare accurate weekly financial reports (P&L, aged debtors, aged creditors). Coordinate and prepare monthly supplier payments. Provide financial advice to the leadership team and collaborate with project managers to enhance efficiency. Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting. Act as the companys Sage champion. Complete all Revenue/ROS returns (VAT, EORI, etc). Prepare annual accounts and liaise with the company auditor. Manage monthly payroll. About You Proven track record (10+ years) in financial management. Can be a qualified accountant but not necessary Extremely proficient in Sage (essential). Strong organisational and multitasking skills with ability to oversee financial operations. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Confident communicator able to collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and our senior leadership team. Proactive mindset with the ability to refine processes and introduce smarter ways of working. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
