Roles and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Assist in carrying out regular site safety inspections and audits under the guidance of senior advisors.
Support with incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions.
Help maintain and update EHS records, registers, and documentation to ensure compliance with legislation.
Participate in delivering site inductions and toolbox talks.
Contribute to preparing safety reports and KPIs for the senior management team.
Support the review of method statements, risk assessments, and Safe Work Plans.
Gain exposure to client and contractor safety requirements through site meetings and collaboration.
Provide day-to-day support to site teams on EHS queries and promote a positive safety culture.
Qualifications and Skills A recognised qualification in Health & Safety (Degree, Diploma or equivalent) – recent graduates welcome.
Some experience in construction, engineering, or related industries (e.g. internship, placement, or 1–2 years’ work experience) would be beneficial but not essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to learn.
Good organisational, IT and document management skills (Microsoft Office proficiency required).
A proactive attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team.
Desired Skills Occupational or Mental Health First Aid certification.
Train the Trainer qualification.
Membership or working towards membership of IOSH.
Familiarity with auditing/inspection software and mobile reporting tools.
