Our SME client is looking to welcome a Finance Manager to join in them in the creative media space. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and approachable qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) who thrives in an autonomous role. This role offers strong flexibility and work life balance in a friendly environment, alongside scope to become involved in the commercial side of the business.

Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business; AR, AP, Cashflow, bank recs
- Bi-monthly VAT returns and monthly payroll processing
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts with reporting to management
- Provide financial insight to support strategic business decisions
- Ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

- Technically strong qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or equivalent
- c. 4 years’ PQE, ideally within an SME environment
- Strong systems experience (Sage and Accounts IQ is an advantage)
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial record keeping
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a tight-knit, open and friendly team
