Join our "New Products and Services" team, where you’ll lead the enablement of groundbreaking AI solutions that create meaningful impact for our firm, clients, and society. As a Senior Data Scientist in Technology Consulting, you’ll be instrumental in shaping AI-driven products and services. In this leadership role, you'll have the autonomy to explore new data science frontiers, tackling complex challenges and shaping the strategic direction of our clients and the future of AI technology.

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of: As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll shape AI-driven products and services, lead high-impact projects, explore new data science frontiers, and push the boundaries of AI technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sector teams and clients to understand their unique challenges and opportunities, translating these into actionable AI strategies and solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Lead the end-to-end enablement of AI-driven solutions and services, from initial concept through deployment.
- Collaborate with the teams in designing, programming, and deploying scalable machine learning models and data pipelines.
- Take ownership of experimental design, exploratory data analysis, and hypothesis testing to validate AI models and ensure their effectiveness in real-world scenarios.
- Identify and implement best practices in AI and data science, continuously improving the team’s ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions on time and within scope.
- Support new business opportunities, guiding the proposal, execution, and delivery of AI projects.
- Act as the primary AI thought leader, playing a key role in shaping AI strategy and positioning the firm as a leader in AI-driven solutions.
Experience and Background:
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning (ML), with a strong track record of delivering AI solutions that scale in real-world applications.
- Proficiency in designing, optimising, and applying machine learning algorithms at scale.
- Strong skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with experience in building and deploying AI models using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience in building and managing data pipelines at scale using relevant technologies.
- Expertise in data integration, API development, and delivering streaming services.
- Demonstrable ability to lead AI project lifecycles from concept to delivery, including client engagement, requirement gathering, model development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Additional Experience and Skills (advantageous):
- Experience in shaping and influencing AI strategy at an Enterprise level.
- Relevant certifications in data science, machine learning, or big data technologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) with an ability to architect AI solutions in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools for managing the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data collection to model deployment and monitoring.
- Active participation in AI communities, conferences, or publications, contributing to the broader field of AI and data science.
