We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Basic Grade Physiotherapist to join our team in Sandymount. Contract Type: Permanent contract. Contract Hours: 35 hours per week. Salary Scale: €43,276 - €57,653 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments) Annual Leave Entitlement: 32 days per annum. Overview of the Post: The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a physiotherapy service including assessment, diagnostics and intervention as required to children accessing the service and will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the Dublin area. The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU. AND Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. AND Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Register Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued. Annual registration On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU. Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland. AND Eligible to work in the State. Desirable Criteria: Minimum of six months experience of working with children with disabilities and their families. Experience of interdisciplinary team working. Relevant post graduate training specific to child disability services. One year post graduate experience in a public sector health service.
