Overview
Yuno Energy is expanding its hedging, pricing and trading team and is looking for an Energy Pricing Lead to join our team of energy and commodity market experts.

Responsibilities
Commercially Focused:

Support the production of commercial & residential electricity, gas and heat prices and tariffs

Prepare price and information for tenders/quotes for larger customers

Track prices offered and benchmark

Conduct competitor analysis and help us understand the market we operate in

Critique and evaluate competitor offerings to better serve existing customers

Work closely with billing teams to ensure accurate and timely billing through the customer lifecycle

Work with the hedging team to manage and report on price risk

Assist in day‑to‑day trading activities and participate in executing trades for commercial customers

Work with management to produce board reports on commercial activities and exposures

Produce tools to help automate new or existing business processes

Report activities or findings in a concise and transparent manner

Customer Focused:

Answer price related queries for internal and external customers

Provide trading support and serve as a point of contact

Assist in providing market insights to the customer base

Support sales and billing teams to resolve customer queries and maintain high customer experience

Assist commercial customers in their green energy transition, including support for Power Purchase Agreements, Guarantees of Origin pricing, and Biomethane pricing

Qualifications & Skills

Five years’ experience in the energy industry within supply and/or generation, with at least three years of direct experience in electricity and gas customer pricing

Deep understanding of Irish electricity and gas markets

Extensive knowledge of customer pricing from first principles

Strong problem‑solving, analysis and attention to detail

Ability to lead a team and mentor junior staff

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong data handling and programming skills, experience with Python, SQL and PowerBI highly desirable

Comfortable working with large amounts of data

Clear, concise and structured communication skills

Ability to follow, map and improve processes

Adaptable, flexible and able to change priorities

Resourceful and proactive self‑starter who enjoys accountability and ownership within a collaborative team
