Senior .Net Engineer

Job Opportunity: Senior .Net Engineer Our client, a well-established leader in the Insurance industry, is looking for a skilled .Net Engineer to join their Information Technology team. This is a contract position where the successful candidate will contribute to backend development projects, aimed at enhancing client solutions and internal systems. Role & Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using .NET technologies. Collaborate with project teams to design robust architectures for software systems. Participate in the full software development life cycle including analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Assist in the integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic. Implement security and data protection measures. Document development phases and monitor systems to ensure they meet both internal and client needs. Key Skills Proficient in .NET, .NET Core and familiar with the common libraries and framework associated with it. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles. Experience in developing backend systems and APIs. 5 years' SQL Server Database Development experience; Experience with large datasets and data warehouse experience is a plus Experience with Azure/AWS Strong UI design and development skills with deep appreciate of UX/usability and designing performant and responsive interfaces. Experience with WPF an advantage Ability to write clean, readable, and easily maintainable code. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills.
