The SDE-II will be based in Amman, Jordan and must have software engineering experience involving solving complex problems. They SDE-II will:
1. Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
2. Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables.
3. Write high quality distributed system software.
4. Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff.
5. Experience with multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, TS, JS, and .NET.
Key job responsibilities
We're in search of a developer to construct expansive, distributed computing solutions at a massive scale. Your role will involve steering the team's technical trajectory, shaping our long-term vision and architecture, and taking charge of major deliverables from start to finish. You'll lead the way in crafting roadmaps and providing technical guidance to the engineering team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
