We lead in chip design, verification, and IP integration, empowering the creation of high-performance silicon chips and software content. Join us to transform the future through continuous technological innovation.

You Are:

You are a passionate and driven engineering professional who thrives in challenging, fast-paced environments. With a solid foundation in electronics or electrical engineering, you bring 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, verifying, and delivering custom circuit solutions. You have a deep understanding of transistor-level design and are comfortable working with SPICE netlists and hardware description languages like Verilog or SystemVerilog. You are recognized for your strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to tackle complex verification problems with confidence. Your experience in MSIP design technologies—such as DDR, SerDes, or PCIe—sets you apart and enables you to address advanced verification scenarios for custom IP and embedded memories. Collaboration energizes you, whether you're brainstorming with teammates or presenting solutions to customers. You communicate ideas clearly and effectively in both written and spoken English, making you a trusted technical partner in cross-functional teams. You are eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to a culture of innovation, and you are motivated by the opportunity to shape industry-leading products that enable sign-off ready designs on cutting-edge nanometer technologies. If you are ready to challenge yourself and make a real impact, Synopsys is where your expertise will help drive the future of custom circuit verification.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Collaborating with the ESP product team to define, develop, and deploy new features for sequential equivalence checking.
- Interfacing directly with customers to understand their requirements and tailoring solutions for custom IP verification.
- Designing and implementing innovative approaches to catch elusive corner-case design inconsistencies in custom circuits.
- Contributing to product release cycles by developing, testing, and validating enhancements and new functionalities.
- Providing technical support and expertise to customers during integration and deployment of ESP solutions.
- Participating in technical discussions, product presentations, and knowledge sharing sessions within the team and with customers.

The Impact You Will Have:

- Accelerating the verification process for custom design IP, enabling faster and more reliable sign-off for advanced technologies.
- Enhancing the quality and reliability of customer designs by identifying and resolving complex equivalence issues.
- Driving innovation in custom circuit verification, contributing to the continued leadership of ESP in the industry.
- Empowering customers to achieve higher performance and lower risk in their silicon design projects.
- Expanding Synopsys' portfolio of advanced features through creative problem-solving and technical excellence.
- Strengthening customer relationships through expert guidance and tailored solutions that address unique verification challenges.

What You'll Need:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Technology (Electronics/Electrical or related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in custom circuit design and verification.
- Strong understanding of SPICE netlist-level circuits and hardware description languages (Verilog/SystemVerilog).
- 2+ years' experience in MSIP design technologies such as DDR, SerDes, or PCIe is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in verification concepts and memory design fundamentals.

Who You Are:

- Self-starter with a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.
- Excellent communicator, able to present complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in both independent and group settings.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies.

The Team You'll Be A Part Of:

You'll join Synopsys' ESP product team in Bengaluru, a diverse and dynamic group focused on advancing custom equivalence check solutions. Our team is committed to continuous innovation, developing differentiated technologies that redefine the standards of custom design verification. You'll collaborate with talented engineers and industry experts, contributing to a community that values creativity, technical excellence, and customer success.
