The role holder is responsible for managing the outputs of the Range and Space Planning strategies, working within the wider Catman team to deliver Space Range and Display Projects, trials and initiatives as required across core categories. The Space Planner will partner with the Commercial teams on projects and store refits where space analytics and planogram support are required. Category Management Manage production and rollout of planograms for ARI across the managed estate. Build strong relationship with the buying, marketing, supply chain and store teams to produce commercially aligned category planograms. Using data & insights to apply space and display principles to each category & format aligned with pax profiles. Provide analysis, insights and recommendations to improve space productivity. Super User of ARI Space Planning Software and key point of contact for software supplier. Management of planogram delivery to the managed estate across the ARI locations. Liaise with IT to ensure best method is being used. Be the key point of contact for each location in relation to managing the roll out and implementation of planograms, including compliance audits. Managing reporting and tracking key space metrics, including sales, profitability and stock productivity. Stakeholder relationships Manage the range and space review calendar for ARI, ensuring stakeholders are aware of dates well in advance and managing the milestones. Liaising with master data team to ensure product images and dimensions are delivered at time of listing and dimensions are captured within the system by master data team. Key point of contact for those supplier partners that are working on planograms and range reviews with ARI. Engaging & working cross functionally to develop brand revise planograms across categories. Support the category manager in the completion of the range review process where required: analysis of data and market trends and post evaluation and review. Propose recommendations throughout the range review process. Challenge current ways of working through interpretation of insights and analysis. Improving of established processes to deliver further efficiencies in ways of working. Experience 2+ years Space Planning merchandising experience in retail. Skills Strong analytical and numerical skills Advanced Excel skills Highly process driven with strong attention to detail Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own time and workload Ability to work cross functionally Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing information needs of the business Prioritizing and time management skills Education & Qualifications 2+ years Spaceman (or comparable software) experience of space planning software for planogram production Skills: space planner merchandising spaceman Benefits: Work From Home
