My Client, a leading Construction company, is looking for a HR Business Partner to join their team. You will report to and work closely with the Head of HR and other key HR disciplines (Reward, Talent, and L&D) to ensure programmes and processes delivered by HR are aligned with business and HR strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work with Head of HR & business leaders to design and deliver strategic people plans to enable business outcomes.
2. Partner with leaders to create solutions which build a high-performance culture, in turn driving higher employee engagement and performance.
3. Be the first point of contact for all employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence) providing the Divisional Head of HR with regular updates.
4. Manage and investigate employee relations concerns and issues as they arise, balancing what's right for the employee with what's right for the company.
5. Coach and advise managers both proactively and reactively as they manage their teams.
6. Manage long-term sickness absence cases to satisfactory conclusions for the business and employee.
7. Lead and contribute to projects across the HR Strategy.
8. Conduct exit interviews and report on the outcomes.
9. Work with hiring managers to support the recruitment process as required.
10. Lead resourcing meetings with Recruitment Manager, Managing Directors, and COO.
11. Ensure consistent reward principles are applied across the employee lifecycle and support the rollout of all reward initiatives across the Business Units.

1. Strong inter-personal skills with an engaging, approachable style.
2. Able to confidently and sensitively challenge employees at every level (including senior leaders) and hold their position under pressure.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to listen well.
4. Excellent organisational skills.
5. Self-starter, with high energy, initiative, and a solution-focused approach.
6. Adept at liaising with people and building relationships across the business.
7. Willingness to travel to various projects and offices as required.
8. Previous experience in a similar role and a broad understanding across different areas of HR.
9. Commitment to continual learning and development.
10. An ability to balance the need for immediate solutions with the requirement to think and act longer term.

Qualifications
* A degree ideally in HR or Business/Management Studies.
* Skilled at all Microsoft tools; Word, PowerPoint & Excel in particular.
* Working towards or holding CIPD Chartership.
