We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex initiatives within our Capital Markets consulting practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing cross-functional projects for clients in investment banking, trading, asset management, or financial market infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle – from initiation through execution to delivery – ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance.

Please note: Working 3 days from the office in Leopardstown, South County Dublin is required.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale projects across Capital Markets domains (e.g., front office trading platforms, risk systems, post-trade processing, regulatory change)

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment of business objectives and project deliverables

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams

Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, allocate resources, and track project performance

Mitigate risks and resolve issues effectively, escalating where appropriate

Facilitate regular status meetings, updates, and reporting to executive stakeholders

Coordinate across business units, operations, and technology teams to ensure successful delivery

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, Basel III, Dodd-Frank, EMIR) where applicable

Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practice development within the consulting team

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field

8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in Capital Markets or Financial Services

Proven experience delivering consulting or client-facing projects in a fast-paced environment

Strong understanding of Capital Markets products (equities, fixed income, derivatives), trade lifecycle, and financial instruments

Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly desirable

Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Confluence, or similar

Nice to have

Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, including front office, technology, risk, compliance, and operations

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Comfortable working in matrixed teams and managing offshore or distributed teams

Experience working with financial services clients in a consulting or professional services capacity
