Post 2339 and 1046 Nursing Department Full Time & Part Time Temporary & Permanent DOlier St., Clinic (Full Time Temporary SPC) Mobile 1 (Based in NBC) Part time (18.5 hrs per week) Permanent. The IBTS is currently recruiting Full and Part time, permanent and temporary, RGNs based in the Nursing Department at both Mobile 1 based in the National Blood Centre and our clinic in DOlier St., Dublin 2. The Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) operates nurse-led collection clinics, managed by a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM). The role of the Registered Nurse in the IBTS is to work with the CNM to support the IBTS strategic priorities with regard to achieving operational excellence, improving customer (donor) experience and supporting better healthcare, ensuring compliance with current legislative requirements. Essential Criteria: To be registered with NMBI (live register) in any Division Have at least 2 years post registration experience, relevant to the role of the Registered Nurse in the IBTS Demonstrate experience in managing people Evidence of recent continuous professional development (CPD) Excellent written communication skills, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Proven IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and experience of working with electronic Patient Management / Learning Management systems The salary scale attached to the post is the Enhanced Nurse payscale 42,872 to €55,594 (incl. LSI) pro rata per annum. Entry point onto the salary scale is dependent upon relevant experience. The closing date for receipt of applications is 12.00 hrs (Irish Time) on 14th February 2025.
