Operations Manager - Cork
Our client, a well establish logistics company in cork is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic operations manager. This role is critical for operations and the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing warehouse and distribution operations to ensure service levels, efficiency, and cost control.
- Oversee staffing, workflows, equipment utilisation, and facility capacity to meet operational KPI's targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and standardise best practices across all sites.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support operational success.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and operational standards, including readiness for audits.
- Manage performance across regional teams, including KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, and asset control.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership experience in logistics operations.
- Background dealing with Third party suppliers or similar environments.
- Ability to analyse performance data, manage budgets, and drive operational improvements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Proficient with operational systems, reporting tools, and technology used in logistics environments.
- Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, and creating structured solutions in fast-paced settings.
