St. John of God Dublin South East Services provides a network of education, training, employment, respite and community living personnel supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in South Dublin. Basic Grade Occupational Therapist Permanent full time Post (35 hours per week) Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above position. The successful candidate must have: A recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy. Experience of working with adults with an intellectual disability. Be innovative, resourceful, flexible and have excellent communication, interpersonal, administrative and co-ordination skills. Experience in assessment and intervention in Independence Skills Experience in sensory integration/sensory processing intervention. Experience in postural management assessment and intervention. Experience working as an occupational therapist in Mental Health and have an interest in Mental Health and intellectual Disability. Experience working as part of a clinical team advantageous. A full clean manual driver's license (please state clearly on application).
