Job Title: Senior Chef de Partie Location: Cork City, Ireland Salary: €18 per hour Hours: 4-day working week (full-time equivalent) About the Role Our client, a busy and well-established restaurant in Cork, is seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join their high-volume kitchen. As a Senior Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes, managing your section, and supporting the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the restaurant's high standards. Manage your section independently while maintaining consistent quality during busy service periods. Assist in menu preparation and contribute ideas to daily specials. Ensure correct portioning, plating, and presentation of all dishes. Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene, following health and safety regulations. Support and mentor junior kitchen staff where required. Work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment. Assist with stock control, ordering, and rotation of ingredients in your section. Person Specification Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume, busy kitchen. Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of modern and classic culinary techniques. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong team player with the ability to lead your section and support colleagues. Flexible, reliable, and committed to high-quality food and service. Ideally, culinary qualification or relevant professional experience.
