POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Planning & Control Analyst is responsible for assisting the Planning & Control department in its financial operations.

Primary responsibilities for the role:

1. Perform financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for GWWO expenses, headcount, and capital expenditure.
2. Perform month-end close duties such as journal entries and prepare management reports.
3. Analyze the financial information in various areas in GWWO.
4. Analyze and report variances and their causes.
5. Prepare, reconcile, and review inventory and provision accounts for proper inventory valuation.
6. Maintain compliance with Corporate Financial policies and procedures.
7. Review and verify documents required by the SOX compliance team.
8. Participate in physical inventory.
9. Collaborate with the internal controls team and external auditors for the timing of physical stock takes.
10. Prepare and review audit schedules and provide requested information for internal/external auditors.
11. Perform assigned tasks using established procedures with sound judgment, evaluation, and critical thinking.

Person Specification

1. Minimum 2-3 years Big-4 audit experience or relevant accounting experience in a multinational manufacturing company; Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
2. Experience utilizing enterprise software systems is highly preferred.
3. Knowledge of fundamental accounting and cost accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
4. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
5. Ability to identify continuous improvement measures.
6. Must be proactive, results-oriented, and have strong attention to detail.
7. Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgment.
8. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines.
9. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make structured decisions on a routine basis.
10. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels in a team environment.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
12. Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
13. Strong Excel skills, i.e., knowledge of V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables, basic accounting formulas, etc.
14. Specific experience with SAP is preferred.
15. Specific experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Economics / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering.
