We are accepting applications for the position of Social Care Manager. This service is based in Bandon, Co. Cork, with the set up of a second house in Cork.

The Manager carries responsibility for the care delivered to the young people living in the residential service and for the staff who deliver that care. S/he is responsible for ensuring that the care given meets with company policies and procedures and with national regulations and that the environment in which the care is given is homely, clean, safe and appropriate for the young people’s ages and stages of development.

To be considered for the role, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

· A Bachelor or MA/MSc in any of the following fields: Social Care; Applied Social Studies in Social Care; Social Work, Social Care Management or related Social Care Qualification.

· Full, clean, manual driver's license (valid in Ireland)

· Hold a relevant management qualification

· Have previous experience setting up a new home

· Full driver's license and access to own transport

· Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children’s Residential Centres

· Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience, working in a management capacity (i.e. Social Care Leader or Deputy Manager)

· Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience, in Social Care and working with young people
