Health Care Assistant 39 hours per week Permanent Contract An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join the Bon Secours Health System/ Hospital Galway Ireland's Largest Private Healthcare provider. Job Purpose: To support the clinical function of the nursing team in promoting and maintaining a high standard of individualised care for the patient and family, taking account of the physical emotional, spiritual and social needs of patients and those close to them. Ideal Candidate: Ability to work as part of a team dedicated to providing a quality service Flexible approach to work patterns as the post holder will be required to be rostered over 7 days a week including weekends/nights as required by service needs. Previous Experience is desirable Essential FETAC level 5 course for healthcare assistant Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Responsibilities and Experience: To support the clinical function of the nursing team in promoting and maintaining a high standard of individualised care for the patient and family, taking account of the physical emotional, spiritual and social needs of patients and those close to them.
