Brief Description of Role

DNG Financial Services is looking to recruit an ambitious and self-motivated Mortgage Advisor to join our DNG Financial Services business. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a busy Financial Services Brokerage or Retail Banking environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Achieve mortgage business targets set out for the year
2. Efficiently manage mortgage applications from initial point of contact through to funds issue
3. Operate within agreed SLA
4. Contribute to the growth and development of DNG Financial Services business and brand
5. Perform role compliantly, in accordance with company policies and procedures
6. Develop and expand professional network of business introducers
7. Deliver workplace presentations and education seminars
8. Ensure accuracy by placing emphasis on a right first time approach
9. Prospecting at new housing development launches

Skills and Experience Required

- To be considered for this role, you will require a third level qualification or experience working in the financial services industry
- You must be a self-starter, self-motivated, adapt quickly, and work well with others
- Proven track record at achieving and exceeding targets
- Previous experience of handling high value and complex mortgage applications is ideal
- Positive energy and can-do attitude
- Willingness to develop and learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service must be a primary focus
- Good problem solver
- Excellent communication, administration and organisational skills
- An interest in progressing professionally within the mortgage industry and a willingness to learn and undertake relevant examinations
- Good technical knowledge of mortgage credit policy and products available in the market
- Professional approach
- Proficiency in MS Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Appropriate Industry Qualification
- Previous experience in a Financial Services brokerage
- Minimum Competency Code (MCC) applies to this role
- Knowledge of Anti Money Laundering requirements and compliance procedures

Minimum or Desired Qualifications Required

- QFA
- Third Level Qualification is desirable
- Full Driver's Licence

Additional Information:

Full Time Permanent Contract 37.5 hours per week
