Product Development Technician II
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Technician II to join our team at Life Science Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our engineering department, you will provide technical support to engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, perform rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop delivery systems for client companies
- Assemble, test, and package complex mechanical devices following written and verbal instructions
- Work with engineers to design and develop assembly methods
- Maintain accurate work records such as engineering notebooks and routers
- Train assemblers, technicians, and engineers in assembly methods
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist with in-process testing to assure product meets specification
- Technical Diploma advantageous
- Braiding and lamination experience desirable
- Balloon Catheter development or manufacturing experience desirable
