Product Development Technician II

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Technician II to join our team at Life Science Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our engineering department, you will provide technical support to engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, perform rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop delivery systems for client companies
  • Assemble, test, and package complex mechanical devices following written and verbal instructions
  • Work with engineers to design and develop assembly methods
  • Maintain accurate work records such as engineering notebooks and routers
  • Train assemblers, technicians, and engineers in assembly methods
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Assist with in-process testing to assure product meets specification
Requirements:
  • Technical Diploma advantageous
  • Braiding and lamination experience desirable
  • Balloon Catheter development or manufacturing experience desirable
