Warehouse Operative

Job description: N17 Superstores is well know retailer in the west of Ireland, operating three electrical and furniture retail stores in Mayo and Galway over the past 25 years. We are seeking to recruit a full time warehouse operative at our busy central distribution warehouse in Milltown, Co. Galway. The successful candidate will work in the electrical department of our warehouse. The Role - Tasks involved: Responsible for operating and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse while keeping a safe and secure working environment. Ensure that Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures are followed at all times. Responsible for the organisation and management of electrical goods. Preparation of customer orders for delivery or collection and ensuring all goods are checked so that no substandard or incorrect goods are delivered to customers. Understand your departments action plans and support the goals and targets set out by your manager. Management of the movement of goods between showrooms and warehouse. Perform other related duties as required. Adaptable to Change & Flexibility You have a flexible approach to work, are open and accepting of necessary change and innovation. Attention to Detail / Organised - You can prioritise & organise your workload, complete all necessary tasks and fulfil all commitments on time and without supervision. Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar warehouse role. Forklift and Manual Handling certification advantageous. Knowledge of Microsoft Applications, word, outlook, excel.
