Job Title: Staff and Senior Speech and Language Therapists (CDNT) About the Role: We are looking forStaff and Senior Speech and Language Therapiststo join the Childrens Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Louth. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, family-centered care to children and young people with disabilities. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment, utilizing your skills and expertise to empower children and their families, helping them to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Assessment and Diagnosis: Evaluate communication, language, and feeding/swallowing needs in children with a range of disabilities. Intervention Planning: Develop individualized therapy programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each child, working collaboratively with families and caregivers. Holistic Care: Work alongside other members of the multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide integrated care. Support and Education: Provide training and education to parents, guardians, and other professionals to ensure children receive consistent support in all environments. Leadership and Mentoring: (For Senior SLT role) Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentoring to junior team members, contributing to their development and the delivery of excellent services. Record-Keeping and Development: Maintain accurate clinical records and actively participate in service improvement initiatives, ensuring high standards of care. Requirements: A recognized degree or qualification in Speech and Language Therapy. Registration with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A passion for working with children and families in a community setting. Experience: For theStaff Graderole: Previous experience working with children and disabilities is desirable but not essential. For theSenior Graderole: At least 3 years of post-qualification experience, with 1 year in paediatrics or disability services.
