Job Description:
My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join their team in Navan. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of clients across various business sectors. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager and Directors, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a variety of assignments, primarily focused on small to medium-sized companies and sole traders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.

- Preparing financial statements for companies and individuals to completion.

- Preparing and filing personal, corporate, and capital tax returns.

- Producing monthly management accounts.

- Conducting small/medium-sized company audits.

- Ensuring compliance with company secretarial requirements.

- Providing oversight and coaching to trainees, as needed.

- Analysing and assessing financial information with attention to detail and confidentiality.

- Proactively solving problems and managing workloads effectively.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years of practice experience.

- Finalist or recently qualified in a relevant accounting qualification.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Experience using accounting software such as Relate or Surf.

- Strong attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities, and initiative-driven.
