Consultant Medicine Locum

We are seeking a skilled temporary Consultant Medicine Locum to join our team at one of our University Hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high standard of care to patients and supporting our team of doctors and nurses.

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating a treatment plan for patients with complex medical conditions.
2. Providing clinical leadership and support for junior medical staff and nurses.
3. Ensuring that the treatment provided to patients is in line with hospital policies and procedures.
4. Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement projects.
5. Maintaining accurate and complete medical records.

Requirements:

1. MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
2. Specialist Registration with the Medical Council.
3. Experience in Consultant Medicine.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
