Production Supervisor - Days - Co. Galway. CREGG are currently recruiting a Production Supervisor in Galway City, Co. Galway for aleading and growing medical device manufacturer at the forefront of innovation and operational excellence, this company offers a fast-paced, people-first environment where strong leadership is valued and impact is recognised. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to take ownership of a high-performing production team in Galway. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in driving output, performance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Duties and Responsibilities may include (but aren't limited to); Promote compliance with Health & Safety regulations Responsible for output, labour efficiency and quality metrics Review throughput and implementation of lean principles in line with continuous improvement objectives Focus will be to manage positive employee relations and develop team-versatility Ensure scheduled Skill and Procedure training is carried out on time, evaluate effectiveness and maintain all associated records Ensures manufacturing-volume requirements are met, On Time in Full, within budget and with the correct schedule mix. Effectivelymanages employee performance, including coaching, counselling, developing and monitoring employees and taking the appropriate performance management action where required. Facilitating open two-way communications regarding individual, team and company objectives and performance through weekly team meetings and daily interaction on the line. Develop Operational plans in conjunction with the Business Unit Leader to ensure alignment with overall Site and Operations functions strategy. Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area they support. Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented. Administrative duties which include updating metrics, Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning etc. Qualifications / Professional Skills / Knowledge: Diploma/Certificate in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent experience) 23+years of supervisory or inspection experience in a regulated manufacturing environment Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and lean principles Experience driving output, quality, and labour efficiency targets Confident in coaching, performance management, and employee development Comfortable with data-driven decision making and KPI tracking Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, high-volume setting Contact Information: For a confidential discussion or to find out more, please contact: Brendan McMahon | Technical Recruitment Consultant Email: Phone: Skills: Manufacturing Med Device Supervising Team Lead Health and Safety Production SOPs Benefits: Mobile phone Paid Holidays Canteen Gym Parking Pension Laya Healthcare
