[Urgent] Nightshift Loading Supervisor

We are now inviting candidates to apply for the position of a night shift Loading Supervisor for our depot in Galway.The successful candidate will report to the Transport Line Managerand will be responsible for all of the supervisory operational functions within a warehouse environment. What youll be doing: The key responsibilities of this position include: Manage and conduct work activities in such a way as to promote, proactively engage and ensure the safety, health and welfare at work of all employees. To assist in the management of the warehouse operation, in order to maintain the required service levels to our customers, within budgetary constraints and operational KPI targets. Direct and motivate warehouse staff on meeting operational goals in an environment where customer satisfaction is critical, and we constantly strive for continuous improvement. Manage and lead your team to ensure that they have the skill sets, resources and support needed to deliver in their role and achieve objectives, and that they operate in a manner consistent with the ethos and values of the organisation What were looking for: Experience, Skills and Education The successful candidate should have the following skills: Experience in a similar type role, having worked in a team or project that demonstrated the above skills particularly. Excellent management & team performance skills with the ability to work successfully with both management and warehouse teams. The ability to identify and solve problems through their own initiative and by communicating with others. Have the ability to engage and support a harmonious environment at all levels. Knowledge of distribution centre operational systems and knowledge of specific processes in relation to H & S and HACCP etc. Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. The ideal candidate should be a team player, be flexible and have the ability to maintain composure and focus whilst under pressure. You should be self- motivated and have the work discipline to attend to all the assigned supervisory duties.
