With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.This is an Early Careers opportunity in Depositary Operation services.The key responsibilities of the role include:* Working as part of a team and Independently* Preparing fund board reports and monthly reports that require a thorough review* Completing allocated tests as part of on ¿ site inspection process* Completing fund NAV reviews* Performing investment restriction oversight including update to the breaches registers* Completing the majority of allocated tasks in a timely manner* Identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines* Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts* Working effectively as a team member but also independently* Knowledgeable of the core aspects of the job* Working towards becoming proficient in all areas of the jobThe ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills & experience:* Good communication skill; verbal, non-verbal and written* Basic Functional / Industry Knowledge is preferred.* Analytical and problem solving skills* A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferred.* Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA, Certificate / Diploma in Mutual Funds) / or studying towards, is a plus.**Working with Us:**As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
