Job Title: Management Accountant
Cregg Group is seeking an experienced and highly organized Management Accountant to join our client's finance team on a permanent basis at their Shannon office.
The Management Accountant will work closely with the Group Management, Division, and Corporate Organization to directly support business objectives, planning, and strategies to meet financial expectations and implement the integration of best practices throughout the Group.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitoring financial statements for accuracy
- Managing the monthly accounting close process in accordance with corporate standards
- Ensuring compliance with all SOX and local statutory requirements
- Preparing and submitting financial reports
- Preparing and submitting ad-hoc reports as required by the Division
- Preparing and submitting annual and monthly budgets/forecasts
- Serving as the finance owner for capital projects
- Preparing for year-end audits in accordance with Company and Statutory regulations
- Supporting Operations and Sales teams with finance metrics, reports, and product costings
- Maintaining the integrity of the standard cost system
- Holding a relevant accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in financial/management accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- A high level of proficiency in MS-Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as experience with ERP and bespoke systems
- The ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplined management team
- An effective communicator who can work well across business functions at all levels and influence others to achieve results
- Willingsness to travel occasionally
