Junior HSQE Advisor A Junior HSQE Advisor is required for utilities and civil engineering projects across the Greater Dublin Area. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic HSQE professional with early-stage experience who wants to develop within a leading contractor. The role involves supporting compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards while promoting a strong safety culture on-site. Role: Assist in implementing and monitoring HSQE policies, procedures, and site-specific risk assessments. Support site audits, inspections, and safety walkdowns to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards. Report and assist in investigating accidents, incidents, near-misses, and hazards ensuring follow-up actions are completed. Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and support staff training. Promote behavioral safety and continuous improvement across projects. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to help resolve HSQE issues promptly. Ensure proper use of PPE, machinery, and equipment in line with statutory requirements. Maintain HSQE records, documentation, and digital safety systems. Support environmental and quality compliance activities where required. Requirements: 12+ years experience in a HSQE, Health & Safety, or site-based safety role in Ireland (including relevant college placement experience). Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or construction (preferred). Relevant health & safety qualification (SafePass + L6/7 H&S Cert, NEBOSH Certificate, or working toward NEBOSH/IOSH). Knowledge of H&S legislation and best practices in construction and utilities. Strong IT skills with experience using MS Word/Excel and digital HSQE tools. Good communicator with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to risk management. Full clean driving licence. Right to work in ROI.
