Senior Speech & Language Therapist - Autism Assessment & Neurodiversity (North Dublin) Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 DOE | Full-time or Part-time | Permanent Emerald Locums, on behalf of our client, is recruiting a Senior Speech & Language Therapist with experience in autism assessment and supporting neurodiverse children and young people. This is a permanent role based in North Dublin, with both full-time and part-time contracts available. Role Purpose The successful candidate will lead the delivery of high-quality assessment and intervention services for children and young people with autism and other neurodiverse profiles. You will play a key role within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to diagnostic processes and developing inclusive, family-centred care plans that promote communication, participation, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Carry out comprehensive autism assessments as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic team Provide specialist speech and language therapy input for children and young people with neurodiverse needs Develop and implement individualised therapy and support plans in collaboration with families and schools Deliver training and guidance to parents, teachers, and caregivers on communication and inclusion strategies Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional standards and governance requirements Contribute to service development, team leadership, and clinical governance initiatives Requirements Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy CORU registration (essential) Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, with specific expertise in autism assessment and neurodiversity services Strong leadership, communication, and team-working skills Commitment to evidence-based, family-centred, and inclusive practice What's on Offer Competitive salary: €70,000 - €80,000 DOE Permanent role with both full-time and part-time opportunities available Supportive multidisciplinary team environment Opportunities for ongoing CPD and professional development in autism and neurodiversity Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance If you are an experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapist with a passion for autism assessment and neurodiversity, we would love to hear from you.
