Forklift Driver - (06:30-14:30) Shift Location: Ballyboughal - own transport essential (no local public transport). Salary: €32,000 per annum (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time, permanent (Monday-Friday, 1 hour unpaid lunch) About the Role Join a busy logistics operation as a Warehouse Operative, playing a key role in receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. You'll help maintain an efficient, safe, and orderly warehouse that meets GDPR standards Shift Options 1. Day Shift (09:00-18:00) Operate a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift daily ( License required) Manage inbound/outbound goods with accurate scanning and documentation Load/unload trailers and prepare orders for dispatch Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols 2. Early Shift (06:00-14:30) Picking & packing: accurately select items using handheld scanners, securely pack goods with correct labelling and documentation Prepare orders for dispatch: palletise, wrap, label and stage pallets in the loading bay Stock audits & cycle counts: perform regular checks, report discrepancies, assist with stocktakes Goods in/out documentation: complete all paperwork digitally or on paper, ensure data integrity and correct invoicing Health & safety compliance: conduct pre-shift equipment checks, maintain clear aisles, wear PPE, follow safe handling protocols Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts (VNA licence required for day shift) Scan and log goods using warehouse management systems Ensure accurate picking, packing, and order assembly Keep warehouse and loading areas safe and organised Assist with route loading and general warehouse tasks Candidate Profile Essential: VNA licence (for day shift applicants) Previous warehouse experience with inventory systems Excellent attention to detail and a proactive work ethic Good communication skills in English Own transport and reliable attendance Desirable: Experience with GDP standards Background in a fast-paced warehouse environment Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems What We Offer Competitive salary (€32k) with performance-based bonus 25 days annual leave plus public holidays Pension scheme and ongoing training Recognition for long service Employee wellbeing support Skills: Warhousing Forklift driver warehouse
