Night Security Officer

We are currently looking for a Night Security Officer in our hotel. The Night Security Officer at Radisson Blu Royal Hotel is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff during the overnight hours. The role involves monitoring the premises, addressing security concerns, and ensuring the overall safety of the hotel. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring the premises: Conduct regular patrols of the hotel property, including guest rooms, lobbies, and external areas to prevent any unauthorized access or suspicious activity. Responding to emergencies: Act quickly and effectively in the event of emergencies such as fire alarms, evacuations, or medical incidents, while ensuring the safety of all guests and staff. Maintaining records: Keep accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and any relevant observations during the shift. Assisting guests: Provide assistance to hotel guests with any security-related concerns, ensuring that all inquiries are handled in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborating with hotel staff: Work closely with the front desk and other departments to address security needs and ensure smooth operations during night shifts. CCTV surveillance: Monitor security cameras to identify and address any potential security threats in real time. Report writing: Prepare detailed reports on any incidents, damages, or accidents that occur during the shift and escalate issues when necessary. Adherence to safety protocols: Ensure that all hotel safety and security policies are followed, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the hotels safety culture. Qualifications & Requirements: Valid PSA (Private Security Authority) License is mandatory. Previous experience in security roles, preferably in the hospitality industry, is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively. Attention to detail and strong observational skills. Availability to work night shifts (10:00 PM 7:00 AM) from Wednesday to Saturday. Physical fitness for patrolling and handling security-related duties. The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel is located in the heart of Dublins city centre at the crossroads of Golden Lane and Chancery Lane. The hotel is nestled between some of the citys most famous landmarks, Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral & St. Patricks Cathedral. Our Velvre Spa offers 6 treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, sauna room, steam room, a relaxation room and a gym. The hotel also offers various dining facilities to include our refurbished restaurant Chancery Grill with a capacity for 130 guests that offers the renowned Super Buffet Breakfast offering 99 items. In the evening time, there are 3 party tables, offering the ideal setting for any special occasion.
