Senior Validation Engineer Location: Dublin or Limerick (Hybrid) Sector: Technology / Life Sciences Salary: €70,000 - €85,000 per annum (DOE) We are partnering with a global technology company that develops software solutions for the healthcare and life sciences industry. They are now seeking a Senior Validation Engineer to join their quality and compliance function. Responsibilities Lead validation activities across multiple software systems, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory frameworks. Create, review and maintain key validation deliverables such as test scripts, reports, and traceability documentation. Oversee validation test execution for both in-house and third-party software applications. Work closely with engineering, QA and product teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle. Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing validation efficiency and automation. Support internal and external system audits and respond to audit findings as required. Monitor and report on issues identified during validation and ensure timely resolution. Requirements Proven experience in computer system validation (CSV), software testing, or quality engineering within a regulated industry. Familiarity with GAMP 5, cGMP, and related compliance standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams. Experience with web or mobile technologies is a plus. Third-level qualification in Engineering, Science, or IT (or equivalent experience). Must have existing permission to work in Ireland.
